Salvatore Ciano

I am a first-year PhD student at the Warwick Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). Broadly speaking, my research area of interest is mathematical finance; in particular, my focus is on stochastic decision models in behavioural economics. I am working under the supervision of Professor Vicky Henderson. My academic journey began with a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Siena (Italy), followed by an MSc in Stochastics and Data Science at the University of Turin (Italy).

Teaching

Beyond academia, I have a deep passion for music and cinema. I used to play saxophone in my hometown wind orchestra. One of my favorite bands is M83, and I hold The Sound of Metal (Darius Marder, 2021) as one of my most cherished films
