Tomasz Łapiński

Hi! I am on the fourth year of my PhD working under supervision of Prof. Vassili Kolokoltsov, you can find me in C1.02. My email address is T.M.Lapinski@warwick.ac.uk.

Research Interests

I am working on the new limit theorem leading to and unifying Zipf-Mandlebrot Law, Boltzmann and Bose-Einstein Statistics and related fluctuation theorem. However, particular research I do has a direct links with various fields. Briefly, my interests are:

  • Probability Theory
  • Laplace Approximatation
  • Statistical Physics
  • Fundaments of Complexity Science
  • Econophysics, Complex systems, Theoretical Biology

Education

2009-: PhD in Probability Theory under supervision of Prof. Vassili Kolokoltsov
