“The fact of science always implies a theoretical, which means a symbolic, argument.”

I am a first-year PhD student in Statistics at the Warwick Centre for Doctoral Training. My background spans social sciences, machine learning, and statistics.
My main interests lie in the intersection between computational statistics and probabilistic machine learning. I am working under the joint supervision of Prof. Adam Johansen Link opens in a new windowand Prof. Theo DamoulasLink opens in a new window, as a part of OCEANLink opens in a new window.
I’m also keen on applying statistical and machine learning methods to real-world relevant problems. So far, I’ve worked on projects in behavioral and social sciences as well as in cancer epidemiology.
I strongly believe in interdisciplinarity, in the values of cooperation and collaborative research.
Beyond academics, I have a deep appreciation for poetry, philosophy, cinema, and music. I play the drums in my free time and am also a big passionate about Japanese animation and manga— generally drawn to anything that sparks thought and reflection, balanced with fun and entertainment.
