Claudia Viaro
I am a 3rd year PhD student in Statistics, originally from Verona (Italy). I am working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Vollmer (DFKI: German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence) and Professor Theo Damoulas (University of Warwick).
Previously, I’ve obtained a Bsc in Economics and Finance at Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and I’ve spent an exchange semester at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Viña del Mar, Chile). After that, I completed a PGDip and a MSc in Actuarial Science at the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK).

- stochastic control
- free-energy principle for inference and control
- probabilistic machine learning
