Flow cytometry data provide marginal distributions at certain time points
for SDE models. That means the problem of fitting stochastic models can be
reduced to fitting Fokker-Planck equations, that is partial differential
equations. Serious savings in computing are possible by using
pseudospectral and meshfree methods for solving PDEs.
