Student satisfaction reaches new heights

100% of students gave their overall satisfaction with our undergraduate courses as 95.2% according to this year’s NSS survey with overall satisfaction reaching 100% on our BA Language Culture and Communication degree.

The CAL partnership learning model was particularly popular with our learning community with over 95% stating that staff were accessible, good at explaining things and offered sufficient advice and guidance. Students highlighted the multi disciplinary nature of the course stating that they had opportunities to bring together ideas and concepts and that they valued the chance to work with other students. The value CAL place on the student voice also shone through with over 95% of students saying that they had the right opportunities to provide feedback on their course.

Professor Jo Angouri, Director of Undergraduate Studies said, ‘I am delighted that every eligible student took the chance to participate in this study and give feedback on our courses; this makes me even more proud of our overall satisfaction rating of 95.2%. Our approach to learning - working in partnership with our students and seeing them as the heart of our learning community - has shone through and we are really pleased by these results’.
