Social Sciences Research Exchange

About us

Welcome to the Social Sciences Research Exchange Group (SSREG)!

We are here to create a supportive, non-judgemental interdisciplinary community for PhDs and ECRs in social sciences interested in sharing and learning about research, particularly about research methods and data collection.

We aim to foster peer-to-peer exchange and learning around new trends, possibilities, and practical experiences of conducting research in and across social science disciplines.

In the academic year 2024-2025, we plan to organise monthly face-to-face sessions concerning a specific topic of research. We also plan to have group discussions to showcase and learn about approaches to data collection in different disciplines. Each session with focus on one approach, with researchers sharing their experiences and data examples. Finally, we also welcome researchers to initiate a session with us.
