How to apply for CTE courses

International PGCE Programmes

Applications are usually open between October and June

Two stage application process.

Stage 1
Fully read the PGCEi pages and complete the Self Assessment FormLink opens in a new window

Your school will also need to download, complete and upload the correct School Statement of SupportLink opens in a new window

Stage 2
Once all documentation is provided you will be invited to make your formal application to the programme via the Applicant portal. Our PGCEi Programme links cannot be found on the portal in the usual search as this course can only be applied to via invitation.

PGCE with iQTS (Primary & Secondary)

Applications are usually open between October and June

Be sure to read the programme description carefully as some of our programmes are delivered online and require you to have secured you own school placement.

Postgraduate Degree Apprenticeship (PGTA)Link opens in a new window

To apply for this route your employing school should contact Partnership@warwick.ac.uk.

We will need to establish that your school is eligible to support an apprentice before we open the course for you to apply to on the DfE Apply system.

The details for the course code to search for and a window for the application form to be open will only be shared once CTE has met with your school.

Assessment Only (QTS)

Applications should be made by in November for our January intake
