Andy is recently appointed as Head of Secondary ITE at CTE and previously worked as a science teacher in Leeds and Bradford before moving the University of Leeds as a researcher on an ESRC network project on evidence based practice in science education. At the end of this project Andy returned to secondary teaching as a Head of Science in a secondary school in Leeds and then moved on to work in ITE in various roles for the Open University, University of Manchester and Newman University.
