As Head of Operations Cara acts as the senior administrator of the department, with responsibilities spanning the breadth of CTE’s activities. Cara is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and supports the Director in developing and implementing the Centre’s strategy.

Cara leads and line-manages the Centre’s excellent Professional Service staff and has responsibility for overseeing all operational activity to achieve the objectives of the Centre. Operational activity for the Centre includes student services and experience, HR, departmental finances, facilities, business development and continuity, marketing, teaching administration, departmental IT and contracting matters.

Professional Expertise

Cara has considerable experience working for the University of Warwick across various functions in Higher Education, including Strategic Planning and Analytics, Student Engagement, Teaching Quality and Quality Assurance and the Regulation of HE programmes delivered in the UK and abroad. Cara has experience of Academic Governance and previously acted as Secretary to the University’s Academic Quality and Standards Committee as well as the University's Partnerships Committee. She has specific expertise in collaborative and transnational programme development and delivery.

Cara currently leads the Centre’s strategic themes in Student Service and Experience and Business Administration and Financial Sustainability.
