In your Moodle space turn Editing on

Add an activity or resource by clicking on

Select H5P Interactive Content

Give your activity a description

Find or search Branching Scenario and select it

This will open up a preview area within the window

First of all click on the Settings icon

It's useful to give your starting screen a name and a relevant image. This will set the scene for the start of your activity.

Repeat the process for the End screen.

Step 2

Go back to the Info Content section

Here you have choice of presentations, text, image, and video but for the purposes of this example we will use Image hotspots.

Click on that and drag it into the middle of your screen. This opens up another window.

Give your first image a Title, upload the image, the alt text, and choose an icon and colour for the hotspot.

Now select the position of the hotspot by moving the icon. You can zoom in here using the magnifying glass icon to make it easier to see.

Add some Text in the Popup content section. (Other options available here are Video, Image, or Audio.)

Repeat the above by clicking on Add Hotspot until you have all the hot spots you need.

Select your Advanced branching options (if applicable at this stage). Complete the Feedback title, text, and image as necessary.

Click Done (top right corner) once finished.

Step 3

Next select Branching Question and drag it into position.

For this example we will place it just after our First Image where the is. This will open up a new window as such

Start populating this section with Question, Available alternatives and any Advanced branching options.

In this example we have a simple Yes/No Branching scenario.

Top tip: Under Advanced branching options you may want to click Disabled under Navigate Back to really check comprehension.

Click Done once you've finished with this section.

You can Preview what you have done but firstly save what you have done so far by clicking on Proceed to save (top right) and then on Save and display.

Now you will be able to see your creation.
