Academic Technology news and updates

I've been informed by Academic Technologies and IT Services that the minor Moodle upgrade scheduled for yesterday morning 07:00-09:00 am was postponed. The minor upgrade is now provisionally scheduled for 07:00-09:00 am on Tuesday 5^th December.

Please note that every Tuesday morning 07:00-09:00 am is the JANET at risk period. Online activities during, and immediately following, this time should be avoided wherever possible.

In addition the Warwick wireless network will be down between 06.00-07.00 am from Monday 4^th - Friday 8^th December while software is upgraded. This shouldn't affect most people as it is before normal working hours but please just be aware of it.

Latest update from IT Services:

Just to flag up the following schedule of annual maintenance work on the campus networks. The upgrade will take place at in the early hours of Monday-Friday and last for 15 minutes, during which there will be a complete loss of network connectivity on all connected devices (wired and wireless). Please ensure colleagues in your area who might be affected are made aware, as this will interrupt any systems relying on the connection.
