A Moodle outage will take place on Tuesday 7th April 07:00-08:00 to perform an update to Moodle, to update plugins and to apply the fixes listed below. The work is likely to take 15 minutes however, we ask that you advise colleagues that it will be unavailable for the full hour window. Apologies for the late notice.

• Update to Moodle 3.6.9 - for security updates and some minor bug fixes including those mentioned below.
• Updates to several plugins:
  • Updated quiz ordering question plugin - to resolve a bug that prevents it working correctly.
  • Update to Echo 360 block (which includes an updated image).
  • Updated custom certificate plugin.
  • Updated H5P plugin (version 2019111300).
• Fixes for issues reported including:
  • Fix for deleting starred courses bug on the dashboard.
  • Fix to ensure dashboard indicates spaces hidden from students.
  • Fix for error reading database scale and an associated Tabula assignment integration change.
  • Fix to allow multiple instances of the Warwick auto enrolment/guest enrolment methods.
  • Fix for all staff to be filtered from list of quiz attempts.
• Several other changes including updated accessibility link to https://warwick.ac.uk/moodleaccessibility, the ability for us to remove suspended users on a per-course basis and enhanced logging functionality to help reduce performance overheads.
• As part of the work to improve performance and reliability, the daily data sync has been reduced to once a day at midnight. Ad-hoc course requests will be processed at the end of each and be ready for the following day. Regular system-level backups are being kept but to manage performance but we've reduced the frequency that individual course-level files are generated to once a week.
