Careers in Economics Events
In recent years, it has been observed that Warwick Economics students place great importance on the opportunities to interact with employers and Alumni. This offers you a chance to explore the diverse range of career prospects available to you upon graduating.
What's in store?
During the academic year we host a series of talks inviting economics Alumni to discuss their experiences of studying economics at Warwick, the key transferable skills they think are important and their career journey since graduating. After each event, there is usually a Q&A session giving the audience the opportunity to discuss topics of interest to them.
The Department's flagship Careers in Economics Fair, held annually in November, is an opportunity for you to network with employers from a range of sectors and former economics students, to find out what skills and attributes they are looking for when hiring.

Careers in Economics Fair
Our annual fair is an opportunity for you to network with employers and Warwick Alumni from various sectors. During the event you can find out from organisations information about the day to day work and the skills and attributes they value. This event is an opportunity to explore and ask questions about the types of work and projects you would be involved in and get a good idea of what it would be like to work for them.
