Welcome Week Timetable 2023-24
Here is an overview of your induction timetable. Please carefully note the dates and times of sessions you should attend. We encourage you to participate in as many Welcome events as possible, get involved in the opportunities we offer and get as much out of your first few weeks as you can. More information can be found on the Welcome to Warwick webpages.
Please note that the timetable is subject to minor changes, so please ensure that you keep returning to this page throughout Welcome Week.

11:00-12:00- Study Abroad Welcome Session: Room MS.04 Please note this session is only for our incoming Study Abroad students The Undergraduate Programmes Manager, Jo Turrall will guide you through a variety of issues surrounding your degree course. She will discuss your core and optional module choices, seminar groups, personal tutoring, degree regulations, monitoring points, assessment and feedback and answer any questions you may have. |
11:00-12:00- Department Welcome Session for L100 and L116 students: Room OC1.05 Please note this session is only for L100 and L116 students This session will welcome L100 and L116 students to the Department and provide you with important information about your degree course. |
12:00-13:00- Department Welcome Session for EPAIS students: Room MS.05 Please note this session is only for EPAIS students This session will welcome EPAIS students to the Department and provide you with important information about your degree course. |
12:15-13:15- Academic support drop-in session (L100/L116): Room OC1.01 Optional - only attend if you have a query If you have any questions during your first week, including questions about your degree or module choice please pop along to speak with the academic and administrative staff available. |

13:45-16:30- The Economics Trading Game: Room Panorama Your group number has been sent to your Warwick email address. Please arrive at the session you have been allocated to: Group A: 13:45-15:00. Group B: 15:15-16:30 The Economics Trading Game has been designed to give you the chance to interact with your fellow classmates whilst also seeing economic principles put into practice. |

14:00-15:00 Campus Orientation Game: Room OC1.05 The objective of this game is for you to meet other students on your course and familiarise yourself with the campus. You will be given a list of places on campus to find and an object or activity to do. Once there, your group should take a photo at the location with the requested item or of yourselves doing the activity and upload this to MS Teams hereLink opens in a new window. The first team to upload all their photos will win a prize! |

14:30-15:30- Student Experience Lecture: Room OC1.05 In this session you will find out more about the activities the Department run to enhance your experience of studying Economics at Warwick. This will also include information about the Personal Development module (PDM) that all students will study in the first year and the Undergraduate Mentor Scheme. |
17:00-18:30- Head of Department Welcome Session: Room Panorama This session will introduce you to the Head of Department and key staff members over drinks and nibbles. |
