Welcome Week Timetable 2022-23
Here is an overview of your induction timetable. Carefully note the dates and times of sessions you should attend. We encourage you to participate in as many Welcome events as possible, throw yourself into the opportunities we offer and get as much out of your first few weeks as you can. 11:00-12:00- Study Abroad Welcome Session: Room H0.60Link opens in a new window Please note this session is only for our incoming Study Abroad students The Undergraduate Programmes Manager, Jo Turrall will guide you through a variety of issues surrounding your degree course. She will discuss your core and optional module choices, seminar groups, personal tutoring, degree regulations, monitoring points, assessment and feedback and answer any questions you may have. |

This will also include information about the Personal Development module (PDM) that all students will study in the first year and the Undergraduate Mentor Scheme. |

Welcome Reception, Economics Trading Game and Campus Orientation Game: Room The SlateLink opens in a new window This event is for EPAIS, L100 and L116 students Your group number has been sent to your Warwick email address. Please arrive at the session you have been allocated to: Group A: 11:30-15:00. Group B: 15:00-18:30 You will be provided with a Welcome buffet and a chance to meet the Societies. You will then join in with some fun activities such as the Campus Orientation Game and the Economics Trading game: The Economics Trading Game has been designed to give you the chance to interact with your fellow classmates whilst also seeing economic principles put into practice. This will be followed by the Campus Orientation Game. The objective of this game is for you to meet other students on your course and familiarise yourself with the campus. You will be given a list of places on campus to find and an object or activity to do. Once there, your group should take a photo at the location with the requested item or of yourselves doing the activity and upload this to MS Teams here.Link opens in a new window The first team to upload all their photos and return to the lecture theatre will win a prize! |
