This Introduction to Economics event aims to provide 16-18 year old students, parents and their teachers with an exciting opportunity to discover more about economics as a subject, experience an interactive taster lecture delivered by the Department of Economics and hear from current undergraduate students on what it's like to study economics at university. There will also be the chance to hear from economists about the wide-ranging work they do and the possible career opportunities open to economists.
*Attendees of this event will also be eligible to attend the Warwick Economic Summit for FREE on February 6th-8th, 2026. If you are interested, please opt-in to receiving a free ticket when registering for this event.
