Professor of Economics appointed Associate Editor at the Quarterly Journal of Economics

We are delighted to announce that Sascha Becker, Professor of Economics, has become Associate Editor at the Quarterly Journal of Economics.

The Quarterly Journal of Economics (QJE) is the oldest professional journal of Economics in the English language. All five editors are Professors at Harvard University with the vast majority of Associate Editors being US-based, with only a few based in other countries.

Sascha said:

"I am honoured to join the QJE as Associate Editor. I will try my best to serve the QJE Editors and the research community in Economics"

Sascha currently holds the position of Xiaokai Yang Chair of Business and Economics at Monash University, Melbourne, and is a part-time Professor at the University of Warwick. His research interests include Economic History, Political Economy and Labour Economics with his research being published in international journals including the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the American Economic Review.
