Main Responsibilities

To support the development of non-academic impact from the Department’s research.

  • Writing and developing impact case studies for the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
  • Developing strategies to engage non-academic audiences in research, including advising on funding opportunities.
  • Translating research (non-CAGE) for non-academic audiences to help achieve impact, for example through web articles and briefing documents.
  • Promoting the Department’s impact and engagement activities.
