Outreach in Law
Outreach in Law
Warwick Law School
Warwick Law School provides an active outreach and support programme for secondary schools and colleges.
We offer a variety of outreach activities on campus, and in schools, to give young people an insight into studying law at university and practising law as a profession. We hope to raise student's aspirations and increase their awareness of the benefits of Higher Education.
Outreach activities are coordinated by our Widening Participation Officer, who is also supported by our academic staff, researchers and PhD students.

Who do we work with?
We work with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and our projects aim to widen access to university for under represented students. Priority is given to students who live in target postcodes* and attend non-selective state schools with below average exam performance and/or above the national average entitlement to Free School Meals** (check your school and home postcodeLink opens in a new window).
We do not charge for any of our outreach activities.
* Priority neighbourhoods are neighbourhoods where the proportion of students going into higher education is low (POLAR 4, quintile 1) or an area which has a high level of deprivation (IMD 0-20%)
** Priority schools are schools with above the national average entitlement to Free School Meals proportion of students on free school meals and below the national average Key Stage 4 performance/where performance at Key Stage 5 falls within the bottom 40% nationally
