With a superb mix of workshops delivering practitioner-focused content to help you develop new skills and refine your existing ones, and enable you to feed into policy development and social events. Students can register and attend sessions free of charge.
Addressing Systemic Issues in Universal Credit: Volunteer with Warwick LinC in the Spring Term
Warwick Law in the Community (LinC) is pleased to offer some new volunteering opportunities with the Strategic Public Law Clinic in partnership with the Central England Law Centre (CELC). These opportunities will be fully remote and should be particularly appealing to students who have an interest in social justice and are considering pursuing a career in these areas of practice. PLE Students create videos on Council Tax for Coventry Independent Advice Service
The Coventry Independent Advice Service has now set live 3 videos that were created by students on the Public Legal Education module at Warwick Law School. A big congratulations to Emily Bahous, Netwon Tham, and Polly Sokolovska – the team of students who did a fantastic job in creating them! New LinC Toolkit launched to help students with humanitarian protection access home fees and student finance
Recent developments in the law should make it easier for students with HP to claim ‘home fee’ status and to access student finance. But there is a risk that they may run into difficulties and so Central England Law Centre, with Warwick Law in the Community, have put together this useful toolkit to help you navigate this area of entitlement.
