- Export as iCalendar
Location: S0.20

The University of Warwick Community are invited to the following Law School Lecture: 'Racial Capitalism and the Anthropocene' with Professor Carmen G. Gonzalez, Loyola University Chicago.

Racial capitalism is a useful framework for understanding the intersecting socio-ecological crises of the Anthropocene, including unprecedented environmental degradation, extreme economic inequality, and the resurgence of authoritarian ethno-nationalism. This lecture examines the logic of racial capitalism in order to distinguish between reforms that entrench the system and those that facilitate its transformation. Register to attend.
