GLOBE Event - Tim Peters - Visiting Scholar

On Thursday 22 September at 14:30 (in s2.09) we will also have a GLOBE-sponsored session, as follows.

The session comprises two parts:

Part A – 14:30-15:20 - Research

  • Tim Peters’ presents his paper - Tools, Animate Instruments and Corporate Persons: A Political Theology of Corporate Technology (abstract attached)
  • Discussant: Stephen Connelly on law and tekhne.
  • Q&A

Coffee break

Part B – 15:40-16:30 – Publishing

  • Research and publishing: Tim will discuss his experience as a journal editor and will discuss publishing.
  • Exploratory discussion regarding a new journal emphasising critical and contextual approaches to commercial and corporate law.
