Writing Wrongs - Casey Bailey Event

Join Warwick Law School’s Writing Wrongs Programme to hear from author, poet, activist and playwright Casey Bailey. Casey will speak about building a career as a playwright, published author, musician, teacher and performance poet.

Speaker Bio: Casey started his writing journey as a young MC. He has since written the plays GrimeBoy and Please Do Not Touch, and was selected as a champion of Black Theatre by the Alfred Fagon Awards for Black British Playwrights. His debut full-length poetry collection, Adjusted, was published by Verve Poetry Press in 2017. Casey is also a secondary school teacher and community activist and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Newman University.
