SLSA Postgraduate Conference
3-4 January 2019 at the University of Warwick
Every year the SLSA runs a conference for postgraduate students. It is led by well-known senior socio-legal academics with an established research record and understanding of the university sector. The conference is run principally through small group workshops and is very informal. One of its main aims is to encourage networking between postgraduate research students with an interest in socio-legal studies.
There are plenty of opportunities for discussions with other postgraduates, as well as with the facilitators. Everyone attending is invited to submit a short synopsis of their research interests. These are distributed to all students attending the conference, so as to facilitate the networking process. Please note that only students who have not attended a postgraduate conference in the past are eligible for a place, but that all other students are encouraged to attend. There is a limit of five students from any one institution.
