Law School WATE Winners 2022

The Law School has seen significant success in the latest Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE)Link opens in a new window with four of our colleagues winning awards in three different categories.

Congratulations to Dr Jane Bryan who won the Social Sciences Faculty Award. This award recognises the achievements of Warwick's outstanding educators who have enabled excellent learning; creating the conditions within which all students are supported and empowered to succeed and thrive.

Law School PhD student Cherisse Francis has won the Social Sciences Faculty Postgraduates who teach award, which recognises the exceptional work of colleagues in the early stages of their academic career who work hard to support learning within the faculty. And finally research students Sahar Shah and Joy Oti, who were part of the Warwick Postgraduate Teaching Community (WPTC), have been highly commended in the WATE Collaborative Award. This award recognises the work of teams/groups of people who create teaching excellence and have a positive impact upon student learning and the learning experience.

Head of School, Professor Victor Tadros commented "It is terrific to see our staff and postgraduate community receiving recognition for the brilliant teaching they do."
