Warwick Law School is delighted to announce the results of the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2026, with students continuing to report a highly positive experience across a wide range of areas including teaching, engagement, support and learning resources.

The PTES is a national annual survey of postgraduate taught students, gathering feedback on key aspects of the student experience, including teaching quality, assessment and feedback, academic support, community, skills development and overall satisfaction.

This year’s results demonstrate the continued strength of the postgraduate experience at Warwick Law School, with particularly strong satisfaction levels across several areas.

Highlights from this year’s results include:

• Learning Resources: 97.4% of students expressed satisfaction with the learning resources available to support their studies, making this the highest-scoring area and reflecting the continued quality and accessibility of resources available to postgraduate students.
• Support: 94.1% of students reported a positive experience of the support available to them, highlighting the dedication of staff in providing guidance and support throughout the student journey.
• Teaching and Learning: 91.2% of students were satisfied with their teaching and learning experience, reflecting the strength of academic provision across Warwick Law School’s postgraduate programmes.
• Engagement: 90.8% of students reported positive experiences of engagement with their programme, demonstrating strong levels of participation and interaction within the learning environment.

Overall satisfaction remained high, with 88.5% of students reporting a positive experience of their programme. This reflects the continued success of Warwick Law School’s postgraduate provision and the commitment of staff to delivering an excellent student experience.

Continuing to enhance the postgraduate experience

Student feedback is central to our approach to continuous improvement. The PTES results provide an opportunity to celebrate the many strengths of our postgraduate programmes while identifying areas where we can continue to enhance the student experience.

Over the coming year, Warwick Law School will focus on several key areas:

• Strengthening postgraduate community: We will continue to explore opportunities to build connections between students, creating more opportunities for peer interaction, collaboration and a stronger sense of belonging across our postgraduate community.
• Enhancing assessment and feedback: We will continue reviewing assessment and feedback practices to ensure that guidance is clear, feedback is timely and useful, and students feel supported throughout their academic journey.
• Supporting the dissertation experience: We will look at ways to further enhance dissertation guidance and support, ensuring students have the tools and information they need to successfully complete this important part of their programme.
• Improving communication and organisation: We will continue to review how key information is communicated to students, ensuring that programme updates and guidance remain clear, accessible and timely.
• Skills development: We will continue working with students to highlight the wide range of academic, professional and transferable skills developed through postgraduate study.
