RIGG Network to host Disruption, Decarbonisation and Reparations Conference
From 2-3 September, Warwick’s Research in Global Governance Network (RiGG-NET) is hosting an international interdisciplinary virtual two-day event called Disruption, Decarbonisation and Reparations.

Payal Shah who recently graduated from our three year LLB degree has beat off stiff competition to be named as a finalist for The Future Lawyer of the Year Award 2020 sponsored by Allen & Overy.

PhD student secures new role with CCAF
Sarah Ombija, a final year PhD student supervised by Professor Dalvinder Singh, recently joined the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), an interdisciplinary academic research institute at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, as the regulatory researcher for Sub Saharan Africa (SSA).
LLB Student Awarded CUHK Global Law Scholarship
Current LLB student Francesca Mitrofan has been awarded The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Law Global Scholarship to study on their LLM programme from September later this year.
Six Law students accepted to present at BCUR
Warwick Law School is delighted to announce that six of our students have been selected to present at The British Conference for Undergraduate Research (BCUR) due to be held at the University of Leeds in April this year.

Law student Danielle Oreoluwa Jinadu will be sharing her experience of Sickle Cell Anemia as part of International Women’s Day 2020 in order to encourage change in how we perceive and navigate this chronic illness.
Law students showcase their research
The University of Warwick held its annual Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) Showcase earlier this month on the 13 November 2019 in the Chancellors Suite. Two of our current law students, Alexander Reay and Natalie Payne, were invited along to celebrate their achievements, exhibit their work and share their research and experience.
Warwick Law student awarded Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship
First year Warwick law student Daniel Nwanebu has been awarded the 2019 Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship.
The Scheme was devised to address the disproportionate under-representation of black men from less privileged backgrounds in large commercial law firms and the City of London.
