Ummul Fayiza is a Teaching Fellow at Warwick Law School. She holds a PhD from Warwick Law School, as well as an MPhil and MA in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi.
Previously, Fayiza was an Early Career Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Study, University of Warwick. She has also served as an Associate Tutor and Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant at Warwick Law School and worked as a Tutor at Aston Law School.
Her research interests lie in family law, critical feminist theory, and legal history, with particular emphasis on Muslim women's rights.
