Mediation Representative training course - June 2025

Being a mediation representative - online workshop (9 June 2026)

Please apply for a place on the course below - this opportunity is restricted to Warwick Law UG students but PGs can express their interest in a later PG course.

WLS are delighted to offer this accredited online Mediation Representative workshop delivered by the multi-award-winning Mediator and Trainer, Emma McAndry (Fellow of the Civil Mediation Council and founder of Essential Mediation Solutions).

The session will involve an outline of how to support a client in a mediation and opportunities to practise the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences. 

Price: Normal price is £225 + VAT per delegate but is offered free to attendees from WLS who are selected to attend the WLS Med Rep course.

Contents of Med Rep course

  • Principled Negotiation 9.30 am -12.30 pm

The session will involve an outline of Principled Negotiation theory and skills and opportunities to practise the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences.

  • Being a mediation representative 1.30-4.30 pm

The session will involve an outline of how to support a client in a mediation and opportunities to practise the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences.

Attendees who attend the Principled Negotiation and the Acting as a Mediation Representative workshops will receive EMS accreditation as Mediation Representatives.  

The workshops carry one CSP each and so attending the day will entitle Warwick Students to two CSPs towards the Warwick Award.
