PGR Workrooms and Other Workspaces
Law School PGR Workrooms
There are a number of workspaces for Law School PGR students in the Law School PGR Workrooms. The PGR Workrooms are all multiple-occupancy, and some of the workspaces include University-managed desktop PCs that can be used by any PGR student with their University ID and login and some of the workspaces include monitors and peripherals that can be used by any PGR student by connecting their laptop. The PGR Workrooms are S1.15 (capacity 12) and S1.16 (capacity 8), located on the first-floor in the centre of the Law School.
All users of the PGR Workrooms must observe the following:
- All workspaces are operated as hot-desks, available on a first-come first-served basis from the start of each day
- Priority for use of the height-adjustable desks is for students with a physical need; students using a height-adjustable desk but without a need for it must move to an alternative desk if requested to do so by another student
- Do not 'claim' a workspace for sole use for any longer than a day; remove all personal belongings from the room at the end of each day
- Do not use more than one desk; do not spread personal belongings onto another desk
- Do not rearrange the furniture in the room
- Do not consume food in the room
- Do not give access to a PGR Workroom to anyone else
- Recognise that a PGR Workroom is a communal workspace, and anything that might disturb other occupants of the room must be kept to a minimum
- Report any problems to
If all of the spaces in the Law School PGR Workrooms are in use, or if a different type of workspace is needed, there are several alternative PGR workspaces (listed below) that are available.
Accessible Study Rooms
Unfortunately there is insufficient space in the Law School to provide accessible study space for students with a disability or other accessibility needs, other than the two height-adjustable desks available in S1.15 and the two height-adjustable desks available in S1.16. However, the University provides a range of Accessible Study Rooms available to be booked by students registered with the University Disability Services. These rooms are located in the Library, the Postgrad Hub, and the University House Learning Grid (more details of these spaces are below). Details of the rooms and how to book them are available on the Library website.
Workspace for GTA Sessional Tutors
PGR students employed as a GTA Sessional Tutor in the Law School can book the Law School's locally-timetabled meeting room (S0.05a), teaching rooms (S0.03, S0.04, S1.14, S2.12), and Research Room (S2.09) if they need a space for work related to their GTA duties, e.g. delivering online classes, meeting with students, marking, engaging with online training courses. Bookings for seminar teaching, departmental committees, research seminars, and other regular departmental business take priority in these rooms, and the majority of those bookings are added in September each year ahead of the start of the academic year, but any available slots after those bookings are made are available for GTA Sessional Tutors to request by using the online calendar booking tool.
If any GTA Sessional Tutor is unable to find appropriate space for work related to their GTA duties, they should contact

Law School Student Hub
The Law School Student Hub is a study space for all Law School students - UG, PGT, and PGR. It is located on the ground floor of the Law School, on the side of the building next to the Social Sciences Quad, and is accessible 24/7. The Hub is usually a quiet study space, but is also occasionally used for Law School events such as SSLC meetings and Open Days. There is a kitchenette opposite the Hub with drink-making facilities and a microwave available for student use.

Wolfson Research Exchange
The Wolfson Research Exchange (REx) in the Library is a space for all Warwick researchers. It is accessible 24/7 for study and group work, and provides a forum for interdisciplinary collaboration. We also host regular symposia, conferences, networking and other research-focused events within the Research Exchange Seminar Rooms. The REx has both quieter and collaborative study areas, including networked computers; a small kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar; and seminar rooms bookable for research-led seminars and events.

Postgrad Hub
The PG Hub is open to all PG students, and has facilities for independent and group study, presentations, meetings and workshops. Every Tuesday 3pm-4pm, the Library runs PG Tips, an event with weekly themes, free refreshments, and a space to discuss everything to do with the PG lifecycle. The PG Hub also acts as an informal space to chat and socialise with peers, with a relaxation room for space away from study to recharge and refresh. The PG Hub is located on Floor 2 of the Junction building, open Monday-Sunday, 09:00-22:00.
