PAIS Departmental Seminar: 'From Human Security to R2P'

the four speakers at this event are as follows:

Sara Davies is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow at Queensland University of Technology. She is also programme director of the Prevention of Mass Atrocities Program in the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, University of Queensland. Her current research focuses on security, health and diplomacy and the prevention of mass sexual gender based violence in the Asia-Pacific.

Alex Homolar is Associate Professor of International Security at the University of Warwick. In December 2013 she has took up a 3-year ESRC Future Research Leaders Fellowship to work on her project 'Enemy Addiction: Outsider Threats, Security Frames, and Target Audiences in Contemporary US Security Policy'.

Aiden Hehir a Reader in International Relations and Director of the Security and International Relations Programme. My research interests include humanitarian intervention, the responsibility to protect and international human rights law.

Elisa Lopez Lucia is an Early Career Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) at the University of Warwick. Her current research focuses on regionalisation, identity and security in Africa and on the EU foreign and security policy.
