Presentation of Short Films made by students, with feedback by Zoe d’Amaro (filmmaker) and Renske Doorenspleet (director CSD Centre Studies of Democratization and Associate Professor PaIS Warwick).

In this participatory seminar, participants will focus on the meaning of the contested concept of ‘democracy’. What does democracy mean? How do people view democracy, and are there different opinions around the world? Students of the second-year module ‘comparative politics’ (PAIS) made their own short films on this topic. On Thursday 10AM-12noon, the students will present their short films, and share their experiences with the audience. Zoe d’Amaro will provide feedback from the perspective of a film maker, while Renske Doorenspleet will give feedback from the academic perspective.
