Politics and International Studies Department Achieves Outstanding PTES Results

Warwick University's Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) has achieved remarkable success in the latest Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES), with a significant rise in student satisfaction across multiple categories.
According to the PTES analysis, the department saw its overall percentage of students agreeing with positive statements about their experience jump from 84% in 2024 to an impressive 97% in 2025. This 13% increase highlights the department’s continued commitment to enhancing the postgraduate student experience.
The survey results show notable improvements in key areas such as:
- Teaching and Learning: Full-time student satisfaction rose from 87% in 2024 to 93% in 2025.
- Engagement: A dramatic increase from 80% to 90%.
- Assessment and Feedback: Up from 69% to 87%.
- Organisation and Management: A leap from 90% to 96%.
- Learning Resources and Support: Both categories maintained high satisfaction levels, with scores above 90%.
Part-time students also reported strong satisfaction in several areas, with 100% agreement in categories such as Learning Resources, Support, and Organisation and Management.
