Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)/Graduate Teaching Evaluation Survey
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2013, is run by the University of Warwick together with the Higher Education Academy. With nearly 100 participating institutions, PTES is the largest survey of taught postgraduate students’ experience. Your opinions are vital for us to understand where you would like to see improvements made, and also where you think we are performing well.
Why should you participate?
The postgraduate landscape at Warwick is continually evolving and you have the opportunity to directly affect current and future students’ experience. However, only with robust results can we critically assess provisions and address any issues raised. Just in the past year, students’ responses have contributed towards:
· the creation of the PG Hub
· a turnaround time policy for all assessed work
· the appointment of a dedicated Postgraduate Students’ Union Sabbatical Officer
· a redesigned Scholarships and Funding Portal .
Details about other initiatives can be found on the Graduate School website, where you will also be able to see regular updates about responses as they come in.
What is in it for you?
· Every taught postgraduate who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw, offering £250 in Amazon vouchers as first prize.
· You will have contributed to an outstanding student experience for future University postgraduate students.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, including issues with access, please contact Liz Hough (Elizabeth.Hough@warwick.ac.uk) in the Graduate School.
