Workshop on "Anticipatory Global Governance" in Kraków, 26–29 June 2019

PAIS's Leverhulme Early Career Fellow Matthias (Matt) Kranke is co-organising (with John A. Berten, BIGSSS, University of Bremen) a workshop at this year's European Workshops in International Studies (EWIS) in Kraków, 26–29 June.

The workshop is entitled "Anticipatory Global Governance: International Organisations and Political Futures". It focuses on various anticipatory practices used by international organisations (IOs) to deal with the uncertainty that surrounds any future and to create knowledge about potential futures. Submissions to the workshop cover, among other IOs, the European Central Bank (ECB), International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Bank Group.

More information on the workshop can be found here: https://eisa-net.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/EWIS2019-WS-N.pdf.
