Learn how can we tackle the world's most pressing problems - Effective Altruism at Warwick
How can we tackle the world's most pressing problems? The Effective Altruism Fellowship helps you to answer this question, and figure out how to do the most good with your live and career – with the ideas of Effective Altruism: a movement and research field of combining evidence, reason and compassion to find the best opportunities for improving the world. As a Politics and International Relations student you are already thinking about global-scale problems and how to solve them through institutions and policy— EA's framework helps you to do it even more effectively by helping with cause prioisation and overcoming biases. The Fellowship is an 8-week program involving weekly readings and small group discussions. Fellows join a campus community of dedicated altruists and gain access to a team supporting your path to impact, including 1-1 coaching and career advice, international conferences and a global network of professionals dedicated to doing as much good as possible. And of course, socials and a fun community to hang out with. Past Warwick EAs moved on to places like MIT, the Open Philanthropy Project, or the UK government to apply what they learned in research, grant-making and policy.
