Dr Christopher Moran, Assistant Professor in US National Security, has won an IAS Research Grant Acceleration Award for 2012-13 entitled: “Behind the black door: UK Prime Ministers, Security and Intelligence in Comparative Perspective”.
Tina Freyburg wins Annual Prize from Journal of European Public Policy
Tina Freyburg, currently a Leverhulme Trust Visiting Fellow in PAIS and soon to join PAIS as an Assistant Professor, has won the Annual Prize of the Journal of European Public Policy for the most downloaded article not in a special issue. Tina co-authored the article with Solveig Richter entitled ‘National identity matters: the limited impact of EU political conditionality on the Western Balkans’ (Volume 17, issue 2, 2010, pages 263-281).

Dr Nicola Pratt's policy brief for Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on women, peace and security
Dr Nicola Pratt, Associate Professor of International Politics of the Middle East, was recently commissioned to write a policy brief entitled 'Policy Brief: Women, Peace and Security: New Conceptual Challenge and Opportunities' for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to feed into their preparation for a conference at Wilton Park in mid-March focused on the Report of the Secretary General on Women’s Participation in Peacebuilding.
