Inaugural Roger Duclaud-Williams Memorial Lecture
On Wednesday 28 November, PAIS will hold the first annual Roger Duclaud-Williams Memorial Lecture as part of the PAIS Seminar Series. The lecture, entitled 'Rupert Murdoch and the Rise of Euroscepticism in the British Media' will be given by Dr Oliver Daddow of the Univeristy of Leiceister.
The event will take place at 16.00, with refreshments at 15.30, in S0.18 in the Socical Sciences Building. All are welcome.
Dr Christopher Moran interviewed about his work with the International Spy Museum
Dr Christopher Moran, Assistant Professor in US National Security, is acting as a historical consultant for the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. Recently he has been featured in a number of press interviews for his work on the museum's newly-opened exhibit, ‘Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of James Bond Villains’:

Dr Nick Vaughan-Williams publishes Special Issue of Geopolitics on Critical Border Studies
Dr Nick Vaughan-Williams, Reader in International Security in PAIS, has recently published a Special Issue of Geopolitics entitled ‘Critical Border Studies: Broadening and Deepening the ‘Lines in the Sand’ Agenda’. The volume, based on funding obtained from The British Academy (SG-50847), brings together leading interdisciplinary scholars from Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK to formalise ‘Critical Border Studies’ as a distinctive paradigm for the study of borders and bordering practices.
