Academic appointment - Dr Tom Long

Tim LongDr Tom Long will join PAIS with effect from 1 September, 2017 as an Assistant Professor in Rising World Powers.
Dr Long is currently a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Reading and Affiliated Professor at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas in Mexico City. His work focuses on the dynamics of asymmetry in IR, particularly in the Americas.

Dr Trevor McCrisken Discusses Donald Trump's Inauguration in the Media

Dr Trevor McCriskenTrevor McCrisken, Associate Professor in US Politics, has appeared in a number of press articles based on a recent interview with the Press Association, regarding Donald Trump becoming the 45th president of the United States on Friday.

Dr Steven Kettell Launches New Report at The Shard

Steven Kettell

On January 17, Dr Steven Kettell held an event at the Shard to launch a report entitled: 'A Secularist Response to the Commission on Religion and Belief in British Public LIfe'. The report emphasises an alternative, inclusive and positive secularist framework based on shared values to put an end to unjustified religious privilege and to ensure that the rights and freedoms of all citizens are afforded equal weight and protection.
