Profile
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science. Before joining PAIS in July 2025, I was a Max Weber Fellow and part-time Assistant Professor in quantitative methods at the European University Institute (EUI). I hold a PhD in Political Science (2023) from the University of Montreal (Canada).
I conduct research at the intersection of political economy, political behaviour, and comparative politics. I am also interested in questions on public opinion, group identity, and the political consequences of the housing market. Methodologically, I have a keen interest in causal inference, survey and experimental methods.

I am keen to supervise undergraduate students, graduate students, or PhD candidates on topics related to political behaviour (parties, elections, voting), public opinion, and comparative politics. I am open to supervising dissertations using various methodological approaches, though I have particular expertise in quantitative methods (descriptive work, causal inference, experiments, quasi-experiments). My research focuses on Europe and North America, but I would be happy to consider proposals with a different regional interest.
