Profile
Joe Grant is a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of Warwick. His thesis explores the ways Michel Foucault has approached problems relating to political collectivity over the course of his career. His research aims to show how Foucault, often through a critique of revolutionary modes of politics, regularly sought to identify the limits of contemporary political thought and to overcome these limits through the production of new forms of collective politics. His other research interests include twentieth-century French philosophy, the history of radical political thought, French historiography, and Marxism.
