My research interests are in contemporary social and political philosophy and the history of political thought. My work currently concentrates on the ethics of social justice activism (particularly educational and 'consciousness-raising' forms of activism) and debates in Analytical Marxism (particularly questions of class oppression and class consciousness).
I joined PAIS in May 2024. Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt. I completed my PhD in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2022.
At Warwick, I'll be working on a new project entitled "Good Citizenship in an Age of Crisis: A Duty to Organize?", funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The project aims to flesh out and defend the idea that part of what citizens ought to do under conditions of economic, democratic, and climate crisis is engage in political organizing.
