Current fee information is available on the Student Finance website; please note that PAIS fees are non-standard. Fee information for the Overseas year of the Double Degree programmes can be found on the relevant partner institution's website.

Funding

While most of our MA students are self-funded, there are several funding opportunities available; as further opportunities come to our attention, particularly in the autumn term, they will be posted here, so check back often. You should also check out the funding opportunity listed on the Doctoral College and the University Scholarships web pages; links are available in the table below.

We are currently reviewing our PAIS MA Scholarship. We plan to provide further details soon. We will update information about our PAIS MA Scholarship on this webpage. It is therefore advisable that you check this webpage for the latest information.

We will write to all offer holders with details of the revised Scholarship as soon as they are finalised.

£5,000 award for Home candidates
£10,000 award for Overseas candidates

Offer holders on any PAIS Taught MA programmes starting in Autumn 2026

Please note: University course applications must be submitted at least a week before the Scholarship application deadline. To apply in round 1, your course application needs to be submitted by 24 March 2026, and all documents, including references, must be received by 31 March. To apply in round 2, your course application needs to be submitted by 13th May, and all documents, including references, must be received by 16th May.

PAIS Double Degree Scholarships

Up to two scholarships for students proceeding to the second year of eligible Double Degree programmes in 2026.

Double Degree with Monash, American, Waterloo, NTU: £10,000

Double Degree with Konstanz or VUB: £5,000
