Think Development Blog Competition for Post-Graduate Students

WICID is pleased to announce a blog competition for post-graduate students.

The Think Development blog provides an interdisciplinary platform for academic and non-academic contributors and audiences on issues of international development.Contributors of the Think Development blog are based in multiple countries across the world and we publish posts in multiple languages, seeking to engage a more diverse and inclusive audience and to learn from the exchanges we can have between places, languages, and cultures. Post graduate students from any university may participate.

To enter the competition:

Please submit a pitch of your blog post - no more than 250 words - by 12noon (UK time) on July 7. Please send your pitches to think.development@warwick.ac.uk with the subject line "Blog Competition". The editorial team will select five authors to write full blog posts and one overall winner.

We're hiring - join our team as the new WICID Administrator

You will provide support and management for the University’s Warwick Interdisciplinary Research Centre for International Development (WICID), including editing the WICID weekly Newsletter, arranging events and promoting the work of the Centre. You will liaise with academics, service WICID committees, monitor and administer the Centre’s budget, support funding bids, manage interns, support visiting fellows and provide general administrative support.
