Fridolin Neumann
I'm a PhD student at the University of Warwick working on Heidegger, Kant, intentionality, and the transcendental turn. My current interests revolve around what I (inspired by Haugeland's reading of Heidegger) call "ontological failure". Before coming to Warwick, I have obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degree at the University of Bonn, Germany (2018-2023). Courses I'm teaching or have taught as a Teaching Assistant at Warwick are "History of Modern Philosophy" I & II, "Existence, Experience, History", "Making Decisions", and "Introduction to Philosophy". In Bonn, I've also taught introductory courses in epistemology and ethics.
Office hours: If you're a student and would like to discuss anything, have questions, need feedback etc., you can book office hours with me here. In term 2 of 2026, slots are available Thursdays from 4-5 PM. Meetings are possible both in person (my office is in S1.63, roughly under the department office) and via Microsoft Teams, though in person would be preferred. If you'd prefer a different time, just email me.
Feel free to email me for any inquiries: .
