Welcome to the Student Fundraiser Application Form for the academic year 2020/21.
Only current/new students who are able to work remotely are eligible for this role. During these times, we have endeavoured to ensure that this invaluable opportunity within our community is available whilst ensuring that our team members' safety is at the centre of what we do. The recruitment, training and role itself are therefore entirely remote.
Competition for this role is high and applications are scored against the Person Specification as outlined in the Job Description. We encourage you to demonstrate how you meet the person specification, giving examples from your previous work/life experience. Wishing you the best of luck!
The Telephone Campaign in the Spring term will run for 5 weeks (Monday 1st February - Sunday 7th March). Depending on performance and attendance, there is also the opportunity to stay on for future campaigns.
Fundraisers will be expected to work 2 or 3 shifts per week during the Spring campaign. Shift patterns are flexible. Shifts take place Monday to Thursday (18:00 – 21:00) and Sundays (13:00 – 16:00).
Application Deadline: 11:59pm on Sunday 17th January
Telephone Interviews: Week commencing 18th January
Unitemps registration: Wednesday 27th January (You must have any documentation required to demonstrate your eligibility to work by this date - usually this will be your passport and, if applicable, student visa)
Training: Saturday 30th January or Sunday 31st January
Shifts begin: Monday 1st February
PLEASE NOTE: The training session is compulsory – if you are unable to attend this session, your application will not be considered. If you are recruited but do not complete the required training, unfortunately you will not be employed as a Student Fundraiser.
You must arrange to have to hand any documentation required to demonstrate your eligibility to work prior to any training - if you do not have this you will not be able to attend training, and thus cannot be employed as a Student Fundraiser.
Recruitment is now closed for this academic year.
Thank you for your interest.
