Summer Science Exhibition hosts DUNE experiment stall
Maria Brigida Brunetti and Andy Chappell (Postdoctoral Research Assistants) in the Elementary Particle Physics (EPP) group have been part of the organising committee for the 2024 Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition.

On Thursday 25th July, 10.00-11.15, Professor Stéphane Udry from the University of Geneva will be delivering a talk at the University of Warwick titled 'The New Worlds of the Cosmos: A Fantastic Human Quest of our Time'. This event is open to all, and the content of the talk will be aimed at all knowledge levels.

Martha Turvey (Third year postgraduate student in the Ultrasound Group) has been announced as the winner of the best oral presentation prize at the British Liquid Crystal Society conference in April.

Dr James Blake speaks at Space Situational Awareness Conference
Dr James Blake was invited to speak on behalf of the Department's Centre for Space Domain Awareness at the 19th Space Situational Awareness Conference in London.
Professor Sandra Chapman attended the European Geosciences Union (EGU) meeting to receive her Hannes Alfvén Medal.
On Tuesday 16th April, Professor Chapman was presented her award at the annual EGU meeting in Vienna with over 15,000 people in attendance. Sandra also gave a lecture titled ‘Multiscale matters: when coupling across multiple scales drives the dynamics of solar system plasmas.’
