YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!

We are at the stage of the Technician Commitment where we really need your help and input to assist us with the formulation of our action plan for the next three years.

We know that these are strange times and everyone is trying to get to grips with a completely new way of working and coping with all challenges this brings. This might include communicating via IT solutions which may be alien to us and with less than perfect broadband connections; the pressure of trying to homeschool children in addition to working; unavoidable interruptions during online meetings and so on.

Unfortunately, our scheduled Focus Groups had to be cancelled and although we plan to undertake two with a small group of Technicians over the next week or so via online Teams, we understand that this is not everyone’s preferred method of communication/interaction.

It would be really helpful to us if you could share with us any thoughts, comments or suggestions in response to the questions posed on each of the focus group slides. This can be by email to the resource account Technicians@warwick.ac.uk or via the online feedback form:Focus Group Questionnaire

Each slide poses a number of questions with some suggestions (in red) for prompting discussion.

What we are asking for are suggestions that you might have in response to any or all of the questions posed however insignificant you think it might be. We don’t want this to take up too much of your time but we really can’t be sure we are delivering content that you will find useful and that supports you in your roles without getting your input at this stage. It’s possible that whilst you didn’t want to attend a focus group, there might be an issue on one of the slides that you feel strongly about and where your input or suggestions might make a difference and give us something that we can work on to improve for Technicians.

It may be that there is an issue which isn’t on the slides that you would like to raise and that’s fine too.

We are happy to discuss any aspect of the commitment in a way that works for you.
