Students talking

We understand that your accommodation needs may be influenced by ill health, disability or welfare reasons.

Your requirements could include needing campus accommodation, an en suite bedroom, a level access bedroom, a central campus location, a quiet area, or amendments to your Warwick Accommodation contract due to exceptional circumstances.

Please select the most relevant process as set out below.

Disability, Mental Health Condition or Long Term Medical Condition (longer than 12 months)
If you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010, including ASD, a long term medical condition (longer than 12 months), visual or hearing impairment and you have specific accommodation requirements then please follow the students with a disability and/or mental health process.

Short Term Medical Condition (less than 12 months)
If you have a short term medical condition that affect your accommodation requirements then you will need to follow the students with a short term medical condition (less than 12 months) process.

Other Specific Requirements
If you have other specific requirements which don’t fall into any of these categories, such as welfare reasons or the need for amendments to your Warwick Accommodation contract due to exceptional circumstances, please see our other specific requirements page for more information.

Please note that if you are in a private accommodation contract (including partnership accommodation), you are welcome to apply for accommodation on health or disability need, but this will not affect your private accommodation contract and you will still be liable. Please contact the Student Union for advice and guidance on private contracts.
